Correctly remove pitch marks

initial situation

If the golf ball hits the green from above, a crater-like hole is created. These need to be repaired / removed promptly so that the green can still be played on evenly and properly.

1st step

The pitch fork is inserted just after the pitch mark at an oblique angle.

2nd step

Now the pitch fork is carefully pressed forward. Slight sideways movements can have positive effects. This brings the raised soil layers back into their old position.

3rd step

Exactly as explained in step 2, you proceed with the ejections around the hole, so that the resulting unevenness is regulated again by the movements from the outside to the inside.

4th step

When you have finished touching up your pitch mark, it is smoothed and leveled with the putter. After these steps, this point should be completely flat again.

error

Please always make sure that lifting grass and earth to the surface is a gross violation, because it can pull out the roots.
